I found a Giant Silk Moth: Cecropia Moth (Hyalophora cecropia)

As I was opening the tower for Test-N-Tune this afternoon, I was met by this huge butterfly, or so I thought.

After setting up, I had a few minutes and decided to try to identify my new friend.

Well, turns out...  He is a Giant Silk Moth.  The largest species of moths in North America.

This one is a male.  Only the males have the large feathery antennas.  I am pretty lucky to lay eyes on this guy, since his adult life only lasts approximately two weeks.
