Camerin 'Camo' Nesbit's "Black Flowers" Mural - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

"Black Flowers" is a massive mural painted along the Allegheny River wall, under the Fort Duquesne Bridge in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  The artist, Camerin "Camo" Nesbit, in residency with Riverlife and The Office of Public Art, chose to paint a grand display of 12 inspirational Black faces from the area.

A Review of The Third Eye by Sophia Stewart

Sophia Stewart deems herself "the Mother of the Matrix" on the cover of her book The Third Eye.  For over twenty years now, Stewart has insisted that her original copyrighted material was plagiarized and used to create-not only the Matrix films-but also the Terminator series as well.  She compiles court documents surrounding the Matrix/Terminator RICO case along with the movie treatment, a photocopy of her original manuscript and more. Stewart wants fans to "find out the truth for themselves".

Stewart's story of The Third Eye takes you on a journey into the dystopian future of a post-apocalyptic Earth.  The planet has become barren and the inhabitants are starving and oppressed by evil forces. The sake of all humanity rests in the hands of the prophesied "One" and in the power of the Third Eye.

Stewart blended theological and technological theories into an impressive science-fiction adventure. I was engrossed by the way Stewart wrapped the timeless concept of Armageddon around a universe far more technologically advanced than our own.

The only real complaint that I have is the length of the story.  The plot is brilliantly gorged with interesting ideas but I would have loved to read more extensively about her characters and their personal experience of the story at hand.

🌟 🌟   I rate this book with two stars.  It is a nice quick read for science-fiction lovers, but it is quite short.  The concepts behind this story could easily earn four stars, but the delivery-for me-was far to brief.

Who is Sophia Stewart?

What started out as a deeper-dive into the Matrix films turned into quite a perplexing investigation.

About two weeks ago, my girlfriend and I snuck out for a random trip to the movie theater and seen the Matrix Resurrections.  I fell right back in love with the storyline, so I came home and immediately began searching for the books. To my surprise, I cannot find one.

I expected to find four Harry-Potter-book thick novels to dissect.  Instead, I read that the Matrix was created as a screenplay... That there are no books, only comic books.

Right before I am about to abandon my search, I find an article about a woman named Sophia Stewart. Evidently this woman wrote a book in 1981 titled The Third Eye and is convinced that her work was plagiarized and used to make not only the Matrix movies but also the terminator movies as well??

So of course, I bought her book in an attempt to find the original Matrix story.
